Up-and-coming L.A. crooner, Bridge, recruits Schoolboy q for a smooth cut called “Roll My Weed”. Stream the behind the scenes video with a short version of the song, and the full audio version above.
OG Maco switches up his screaming-whisper style for melodic auto-tuny vocals on his new track “All In 2”. The song is pretty good, but I hope he doesn’t too many rap-singer tracks. That was the one thing I loved about Maco, was that his sound stood out from what most Atlanta rappers are doing these days. It’s solid but let’s see what he comes with next.
Rochelle Jordan comes through with another solid single (as usual) called “Playa 4 Life”. She recruit Bay area rapper, IAMSU, to show what happens when a good girl goes bad.
After listening to T.I.’s recent album, all I can is say don’t judge a project by it’s radio single. Although listening to “Mediocre” makes my blood curdle followed by feverishly hitting the skip button, the rest of the album was a solid body of work. Tip definitely made his sounds a little more relevant for the times but some how kept the same formula that has worked for him in the past.
Paperwork is def worth a few spins and you can stream it for free on iTunes now.

If I had to describe OG Maco in four words it would be “Wacka Flocka meets Mystikal”. As elementary as his single “You Guessed It”, you couldnl’t help but be drawn to it for a reason you can’t quite put your finger on. The simplicity of his style is what makes him so great, not to mention how unpredictable he is on a track. You’re not sure when he’s going to scream or whisper in your ear…and it’s great.
Following up that single, Maco teamed up with Migos earlier this week for a track “Fuck Em” and then released a single today called “Want More”.
