Sango released the third and final installment of his Da Rocinha series. Aptly titled Da Rocinha 3, it combines hip-hop sounds with Brazilian funk like its preceding parts. The producer reveals that the album “is about keeping the funk carioca roots true and paying homage to the ones that helped start it. I want to respect and show Rocinha in a positive light with this record while staying true to my sound.” If you’re feeling the record, make sure to cop the entire release for $1 for all 19 tracks via Bandcamp.
Sam Shepherd, better known by his moniker Floating Points, has offered a free stream a week in advance album, Eleania, a week before it’s November 6 release date. In celebration of the release, the UK multi-instrumentalist and producer will perform with an 11-piece orchestra at Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival at Music Hall of Williamsburg on November 7, a day after its official release date.

A young and wildly talented musician hailing from Atlanta, Raury, is back with a new album. All We Need is a follow up to his debut album Indigo Child. Raury took to Instagram to announce a release date October 16th, and I’m sure it is well worth the wait.
