Drake and Future just released What A Time to Be Alive, and will not disappoint you. They might just change cuffing season to turn up season. We can thank Boi-1da, Southside, Noah “40″ Shebib, Metro Boomin’, and more for the ridiculous production. Drake on the What A Time to Be Alive:
“I went to Atlanta for six days a couple weeks ago with the hopes of doing some songs with Future, and when you get around Future, it’s like a vortex, that guy can outwork anybody right now. It’s tough to see someone do four, five songs in one night and not try to match it.”
You can preview and download it now on iTunes.
The internet has been broken once again. Drake and Future have confirmed a joint album What A Time to Be Alive.
For the past few weeks, Drake and Future fans have been in an uproar when a rumor started circulating that the two turn up kings might be collaborating on a joint album. Future took to Instagram to announce that they would be joining forces for an LP called What A Time to Be Alive. This is probably one of the most anticipated collabs since Jay Z and R Kelly’s joint album Best of Both Worlds. I don’t typically pay to see rappers perform but if they went on tour, this would be the one exception.
There’s no confirmed release date, but we’ll keep you posted.
I guess dropping projects out of nowhere is now officially a thing now for major artists. I feel like its a rite of passage that lets you know you made it. If you’re that big, that you can drop music out of nowhere with no marketing, you are on. You can add Drake to this list, as he dropped a new mixtape If You’re Reading This Too Late. Stream and download it below.
Drake is ramping up to infiltrate your car stereos and every radio station on the planet soon. Drizzy had leaked a few songs already from his upcoming album and we now another one called “How Bout Now”. No word if this one is an official leak or if this will appear on Views From the 6. Stream and download it above.
The love and hate of Nicki Minaj’s video has poured in by the millions (16 million views and counting) for the anticipated the release of her ‘Anaconda’ video. The shock factor is definitely there as she lets her rear hang all out in all its twerking glory for this one. Oh, and Drake get’s a lap dance.
We weren’t too sure how Drake was going to pull of hosting the 2014 Espy Awards. As usual there are mixed feeling about Drake and hundreds of jokes going around about his corniness, but I have to admit some of the skits he had were pretty entertaining. For those of you that missed the award show, or just want to see the skits again, here they are.
We already knew a new album was on the Horizon for Drake when he dropped a hint in his latest track “0-100”. He made even more official when he took to his Instagram to day to announce the album with the title Views From The 6. We’re not sure what this means yet but we’ll keep you posted. This is also a busy year for his OVO artists, Majid Jordan and PARTNEXTDOOR, who will also be dropping projects this year.
